Brazilian Lemonade

This recipe was recommended by Matt's seminary professor. His wife makes it for special occasions and gets raving reviews on it. So we decided to try it out one night. We liked it so much that we made it for our company this weekend. It's a simple drink, but it looks so exotic! It's called a lemonade but is actually made with limes.

INGREDIENTS:
2 limes (the prof.'s wife modified the recipe and uses key limes, but I used regular limes)
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
3 cups water
ice

DIRECTIONS:
1. Wash limes thoroughly. Cut off the ends and slice into eight wedges. Place limes in a blender with the sugar, sweetened condensed milk, water, and ice.
2. Blend in an electric blender, pulsing 5 times (Do not blend it too much! You should have chunks of limes still. If you blend it too much you will get a very bitter end result). Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove rinds. Serve over ice. Makes 4 servings

(If it is too potent/sweet just add a touch more water)
