A Weekend with the Fam

Mom and Dad came and spent this past weekend with us. It was one of those low-pressure, lazy kind of visits, where we didn't have hardly anything on our agenda. We took a trip to PR for an afternoon, spent part of a day at the park, and then had Anna and Biel over a couple times for dinner. We, as usual, consumed large quantities of coffee and laughed until we cried.
We took Mom and Dad out to celebrate their 27th anniversary.

We ate at this cute little cafe/bistro, which is also next to my favorite bookstore in PR.

Girls, I found the perfect shoe store in PR for us! It has a play area for kids, so you can spend adequate time gawking over the latest shoes.

We had a bonfire one night. Biel and Dad tore a tree apart with their bare hands (ok...it had been dead a while), and we enjoyed a cozy fire on a chilly night.

Anna's roomie, Hannah K., joined us one evening.
We went to the park and spent an afternoon biking. After a mile down the trail, I was left in the dust by my family. I forget how awkward it is to bike while pregnant. I felt like such a wimp.

Daniel enjoyed his ride in the Burley. He yelled out "Careful!" a couple times as we flew over some bumps. We rented an electric bike to help pull the Burley. Man, that thing has some power! Dad, Matt, and I took turns riding it. At the simple twist of a handlebar, it gave you an extra boost to make it up a hill. I've decided that I need an electric bike now.

Enjoying the sand.

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad.
