A Blessed Thanksgiving

We spent our Thanksgiving week with my parents and sister in Duluth. It was so peaceful at their home and Daniel was given a dose of doting upon. Matt and I were able to sleep in the basement by their cozy wood stove and Daniel slept right across from Anna's room upstairs (so guess who got the early morning wake up calls). We felt so refreshed after our trip. I am discovering how important it is to take time like that during our lives to pause, break out of the routine of our work/schedules, and spend time genuinely resting and reflecting. Thanks Mom and Dad for hosting us for a week and for listening to all of our wandering thoughts.

Daniel's absolutely smitten with Auntie Anna.

Dinner at Pizza Luce's. If you ever go there, try the Baked Potato Pizza.

We went and visited Mom one morning at the coffee shop she works at.

Some of our goodies that we devoured. Every year Anna makes the most amazing dipped chocolates. Wow, they are addicting!

Anna and Mom did a great job decorating the table for our big dinner. They have the touch!

Bubblegum Blowing 101.

Matt and Dad whipped out the mandolin and guitar for some mighty fine pickin'.

Great Gpa Rod

Great Gma Mary
