Happy birthday, gorgeous! I know your day is going to be crazy, but take some time to celebrate!
Karen, Melissa, Kaye and I went and had a pre-birthday celebration for Karen in Duluth this weekend. We got to Duluth late Friday night and stayed up chatting with my hilarious sister, Anna, till almost midnight. We "allowed" her to practice some of her massage techniques she was learning in her physical therapy classes (I know...we're martyrs). Mom made us a fabulous breakfast of apple pancakes, which got us all geared up for "Super Saver Saturdays" at Kohl's. We also raided Michael's, and then drooled all over Pier 1. We literally shopped till we almost dropped. Melissa did very well for being 8 months pregnant. Her adrenaline must have kicked in when she hit the home decorating aisles at TJ MAXX. Did I mention we didn't have any babies with us? Wow is it easier to shop without kids! We, of course, had a few embarrassing moments out in the big city...but we won't share those over the WWW. The best part was the uninterrupted time to chat in the car there and back. What a blessing! Love you girls!
Enjoying a lunch at the Olive Garden.
Me and Kaye
Karen, I'll go on a road trip with you anytime!

Thanks Mara! It was such a fun weekend, and it was great to have all of that "girl time" together! Thank you for your friendship!
What an awesome fun weekend! Sounds like you girls had a blast!!
Hi Mara! Fun photos - sounded like a great mini-vacation!!
I think it may be a little dangerous having all four of you together for very long! I've heard stories...You must tell about the embarassing moments! You have us very curious now. :)
I'm with Melanie: We'd love to hear some funny stories!
Wow, that sounds like a blast! Glad you gals had so much fun. I wish I had a sister who was a massage/physical therapist!
