Don't Let Him Fool You...

Isn't it funny how sometimes you can be having the absolutely worst day at home with your child, and then when you go out in public they smile incessantly and angelically behave? People don't believe me at church when I say that we have horrific days at home with Daniel. He can be howling at me all day and thrashing about in my arms, and the instant that we go to a church function he becomes a saint. He flutters his big blue eyes and coos quietly and makes me out to be a big liar. It's a Jekyll and Hyde effect. Lucky me...I get the nasty side. Here's a couple of his more agreeable moments at home.

Daniel is 9 months old now!

Here he is browsing through his scrapbook...one of his favorite activities.

It's amazing to see how much he learns week to week. This week he has mastered how to open the CD-ROM slot on the computer tower, has figured out how to take out Matt's commentaries on the bottom shelf of the bookcase, and has discovered how to slam cupboard doors. Oh, and due to an insect problem, he is enjoying chasing ants around on our kitchen floor.
He is such a joy to us, even in his mischievous state.

This is such a great post! I am always delighted to see Daniel smile and coo at me! He is such a sweetie! Even when he is mad, he is cute!
