It's been a while! Here's a debriefing on what has been happening in our lives:
In August, Matt began candidating at a church 30 minutes south of where we were living. After meeting the congregation and preaching a couple of Sundays, Matt was asked to be their senior pastor. We then said goodbye to our dear church family at KCC and began a new adventure. Starting Sept. 1st, we jumped into full-time ministry and began the never-ending process of moving into the parsonage. I think after 3 weeks of trips back-and-forth, we finally locked the door to our rental home. Since then we have been enjoying getting to know people and have been diving into renovations on the house. I am loving being able to see more of my husband (before this, he was bi-vocational and had very strange hours). Now that we're settled, I am hoping to be able to get back to doing some of my favorite hobbies (blogging, being one of them).
