Hard to believe we've already hit the 4 week mark since our little girl was born. Life is going well. I am healing well from my c-section and getting back into the swing of things with cleaning and cooking. Norah has started to become more alert each day...or I should say each night. It's so funny to me how a newborn can have such a mixed up schedule. It's hard to be too aggravated though when she looks so adorable with her bright eyes wide open at 2 a.m. She has been completely different from Daniel as a newborn. He was such a colicky baby and nothing would comfort him. She just wants to be nurse and be held all the time. The most challenging part has been trying to help Daniel adjust to life with a baby. He gets frustrated when I can't get up to help him while I'm nursing. I feel like I'm constantly saying, "Wait till Norah's done." When we do finish a feeding, he usually cheers for her ("Yay, Norah!") because he knows I'll be able to give him a little attention. :) When we took her to her 2 week appointment I was explaining that we were going to the hospital for Norah to see a doctor. He said, "We're going to Norah's house." I think he thought we were going to bring her back to where she came from. Poor kid.
Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us and those who have given us meals during my recovery. We have felt incredibly blessed and appreciate all the support.

She is so sweet! I am glad you are feeling well! Time really does fly!! Our little guy just had his 2 month appointment! It is amazing! I LOVE the picture of her looking up at you adoringly!
She is beautiful! What a contrast in how your children look:)
She is SO CUTE!! I am glad you are adjusting well. I was shocked at how big of a change it was from 1 to 2 kids. But, now we have certainly settled into our routines, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I love my little ones, and they are so fun. The best part is watching Lainey and Dawson snuggle. They can never get enough of each other.
