Warning to All Apartment Dwellers Using Baby Monitors!!

As many of you know, we live in a very comfy cozy basement apartment. As often occurs with apartment situations you get to know your neighbors well...possibly too well. Up until yesterday, I hadn't met our upstairs neighbors. So as I was hauling out my garbage with Daniel strapped into the baby carrier, we happen to cross paths. I introduced myself to the couple and their little girl and had a brief conversation in which I apologized if they had heard any late night screaming from below. They then went on to tell me how when we had first moved in last September, they had turned on their baby monitor one night and awoke to here a strange baby blaring through it. They eventually figured out that their monitor was on the same channel as ours. After our conversation ended, I rushed back to our apartment and quickly shut off Daniel's monitor, which I usually leave on all day long. I quickly tried to brush away my mental images of them and their friends gathering around the monitor at night for entertainment, listening in on the first reality show via baby monitor.
